Down South

January 31, 2016

Sunday slow down with my man was the best thing yet! We had brunch and a much-awaited R&R at Qiwellness Living. The overlooking view of Taal Lake took us in a tranquil and rejuvenating escape from the chaos of Manila. I love everything about this experience and destination- from how we were taken care of by the staff of Qiwellness from start to end to the quality of service they have provided. The communication with Ken, the co-owner if I am not mistaken, was smooth and hassle-free, too. Upon arrival, the guard instantly greeted us and asked, “Maam Christine?” When they opened the red door to let us in, a sound of chau gong welcomed us. Hot tea was immediately served while they prepared the bath house which we enjoyed all to ourselves for two hours for only 2580php per person.

Before we headed back to the hustle and bustle of the city, we swung by Cafe Voilà at Crosswinds to have a light snack. Its eclectic interior and quirky accents greeted us with much vibrance. Their Asian fusion cuisine left us in a gustatory high. In this country where restaurants appeared fast like a lightning bolt, Cafe Voilà was worth a try.
